My TV Addictions

There are so many good things on TV right now. So much in fact that I can't keep up with everything!! I've been staying up way to late trying to keep up with my DVR.

Today I thought I would share some of my favorite addictions with you because I want to know that i'm not alone... how many of you are addicted? What are your favorite shows? If you watch these three shows, tell me what you think about what is happening with these shows?

24.... my husband and I have been addicted since the day this show came out. It was kinda one of the first ones that we started following when we got married and it's so crazy how you just keep getting drawn in.

Come on people... you know that Jack is on our side, after these many years can't you figure that out? So frustrating!

Hereos...
If you haven't ever watched this one it's a good one to get addicted to; however, you have to start from the beginning or it's confusing as heck. Well, it's confusing and insane anyways. They keep mixing it up.

Seriously Sylar.. are you good or bad? Make up your mind so I can either hate you or like you!

Lost... I think that this one is my favorite and it's the one I feel like I have begun to really LOVE the characters. It's crazy how you start a journey with these characters and then feel like you actually know them and what they are going through. How does TV do that to you? It's way too emotional. Again, you have to watch this one from season 1 or you are going to be WAY to confused. It's an emotional roller coaster.

Please go save your friends.. don't trust Ben (I think), but your friends need you.

Brides Choice Award - Weddingwire.com

It's really fun and exciting when I have fun news to share with you all 2 days in a row!!!

I'm honored to have received a 2009 Brides Choice award from WeddingWire.com, an affiliate of MarthaStewart.com. Wedding Wire is a resource for brides to find a great photographer. It has client and vendor reviews so that you can see what people are saying about vendors in your area.

2009 Bride's Choice Awards presented by WeddingWire | Wedding Cakes, Wedding Venues, Wedding Photographers & More

Press Release

WeddingWire, the nation’s leading wedding technology company, just announced that Kimberly Jarman Photography has won the 2009 Bride’s Choice Awards™!

In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means Kimberly Jarman Photography is one of the very best Photographers.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.

“We are excited to launch this annual award program to honor high-performing vendors based solely on the experiences of our WeddingWire community,” according to Timothy Chi, WeddingWire’s Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s recipients have set the bar high, exhibiting excellent service and expertise in the wedding industry.”

Kimberly Jarman Photography would like to thank our past clients for speaking on our behalf and helping us win the 2009 Bride’s Choice Award!

Modern Photographers

I am very excited to announce that I am now a member of , Modern Photographers, a resource for brides to find experienced professional photographers

Modern Photographers is a very elite group of photographers who value the art of photography, business, and lifestyle photography. In order to become a member you must be voted in by a group of your professional peers. They have very high standards and I am honored to be a part of this organization.

To learn a little more about what Modern Photographers is, read below. I took this off of the website to show you what is expected in order to be a member.

Why Modern Photographers?

Have you ever noticed that photography is one of the rare industries that requires no licensing or certification? Just about anyone can pick up a camera and claim to be a photographer with absolutely no experience. Unfortunately, many couples and families have been harmed by the actions of some wreckless “photographers”.

Modern Photographers was created to give those looking for artistic professionals a place to connect with qualified working visual artists. Our members have been voted on by true professionals in the industry. We require our members to:

*Maintain a proper business license (pay taxes)
*Have backup equipment in case of equipment failure during an important shoot
*Maintain a good reputation in their local community, as well as within the photography industry
*Have solid technical skills (exposure, lighting, composition, post production)
*Have a creative eye that lends itself to a modern style

If you are looking for a photographer recommended by other photographers, look no further than Modern Photographers.

Reagan Juarez - Cutest Little Guy!

Isn't he the sweetest little thing on earth? A couple of weeks ago I was asked to take pictures of little 4 week old Reagan Juarez. I love taking baby pictures because you never know what you will get, but this shoot turned out to be one of my favorites.

Reagan did so great and allowed us to do so many fun things with him. We got great pictures and I can't wait until his next session. Reagans parents choose to do a Baby Lifestyle package, which is 3 different sessions within the first year of Reagans life. This way we can capture the brand new little baby, the crawler, and the walker... all major stages in a baby's life.

Below are a few favorites of the session.

I Love this little outfit.. he's Daddy's little Rocker!

One of my Favs!!!

Another Fav!

I am so excited about these next two pictures with the Piano... new FAVs of all time!

Reagans Daddy has a recording studio in their house, so we had to get some pictures with the drums!!!

Reagan, you are the cutest little thing and I can't wait to see you when you are crawling!! Thanks Juarez Family for allowing me to capture these special times!

Marcella and Chris - Wedding at the Windemere in Mesa, AZ

Chris and Marcella got married on Saturday at the Windemere Hotel in Mesa, AZ. I have gotten to know Chris and Marcella very well over the last year and they have become good friends of Jamie's and mine. It was quite fun because Jamie and Kailee came as guests, so i got to see them!! I also got a great shot of Kailee and Jamie dancing... made me cry.. you can see it at the end.

It was supposed to rain all day on Saturday, but we prayed the clouds away and it worked!!!! We had a beautiful day and were able to get lots of great pictures.

I also have to thank Jenny and Lizzie for helping out. These are 2 girls from my workshops that have done so great and are starting their own businesses. They have learned a lot and came to shoot with me for the day. They both did fantastic.

The dress... It was gorgeous!

Chris and his dad getting ready.

There were so many cute kids running around, but I love this shot!

Lots of emotions... this is Marcella's brother and mom... they were balling watching Marcella come down the aisle.

Love this shot we captured of Chris... this was right when he saw her.. he was very happy!

Dad was very emotional as well! Lots of happy tears.

We convinced Marcella and Chris to take a short little field trip off site to a great place to take pictures. We got some really great ones and I LOVE them all! Aren't they so cute?

Marcella looked beautiful!

I love this!

I have to end with a shot that I took of Jamie and Kailee dancing. It was the first dance of the night and Jamie surprised me by bringing Kailee up to the dance floor. I started crying.. it's an awesome thing to see your husband dancing with your little girl. I got mad at him though afterwards because he distracted me. LOL!!! I'm so glad I got this shot though!

Thank you Chris and Marcella for letting me be a part of your day!!! You are both wonderful and I'm so thankful for our friendship!! Enjoy marriage.. it's a wonderful thing!
