Bride & Groom Models

Are you a couple that recently got married but wish you had more fun/urban/trendy magazine style pictures in your gown and suit (or tux)? Or maybe you are just a super-cute young couple and want to get all dressed up in a gown (that you own, can buy on Craigs List/Ebay or borrow) and suit for some super fun images? Either way, this is your chance to get some free images by serving as models for a photography workshop!Â

Couples MUST supply their own attire for this shoot and "brides" please note your gown WILL GET DIRTY. You can bring the dress you got married in and still have hanging in your closet, or you can buy a super-affordable white dress/gown from Craigs List, Ebay, a consignment store or even the David's Bridal $99 dress sale.Â

Couples MUST submit a few images of themselves (close up and full length if you have one - snapshots are fine) as well as the attire they plan to wear for the shoot. We very much need couples who are comfortable in front of the camera and affectionate with one another.

The session will last approximately 20-30 minutes and be in Mesa on the date above.

2nd Annual Pictures in the Pines - Pinetop/Lakeside Family Portraits

I'm so excited to announce our 2nd Annual Pictures in the Pines.

June 1-6 I will be taking portraits exclusively in the Pinetop/Showlow area.

If you haven't had family pictures taken in awhile or were wanting to get some taken, now is the time to do it. Get out of the heat of the Valley and take a day trip, weekend trip, or heck even the whole week, to go up to Pinetop and enjoy the cool weather.

We have a couple of amazing locations to take pictures in and they are unlike anything that you will get in the valley. Green, trees, beautiful fields. I promise you will love it.

The price is $500 and with that you will receive a credit worth $300 to purchase prints.

BUT

I am going to do something i've never ever ever done before.......

The First 4 families that book a session (Monday - Friday) will receive the entire session fee as a credit for prints. That means that when you pay $500 for your session, all $500 goes towards prints. (this is not available for the Saturday session.)

I'm not sure if I will ever do this again, so you should all take advantage of it now!!!

Call us to schedule your time. We only have a few sessions available and are going to book fast.

480.203.1090.

Can't wait to see you all up there... i'm so excited for the cool weather!

Tulumaris Family Portraits - Botanical Gardens, Arizona

This very cute family is the sister of the groom from the post of yesterday. While they were in town they asked me to take family picture of them, which of course I was thrilled about! We had such a great time wandering around the Botanical Gardens. Natalie is a cutie and at first was pretty shy, but quickly warmed up in front of the camera. We got so many great pictures of her and of the entire family. Below are some of my favorites!

Smelling the flowers.

One of my Favs.

Isn't she cute?

LOVE THIS!!!

Nova and James - Wedding in Cave Creek, AZ

Last weekend Nova and James got married up in Cave Creek, at Nova's Dad's house. It was beautiful and an amazing wedding. I had so much fun with the family!! Nova and her sister, Tessa are awesome and I truly felt like I was part of the family. I also got to know James sister and family because a few days before the wedding I took family pictures for them. I really felt like I was part of the family, which I LOVE!

We started the day with getting ready pictures at Nova's Dad's house. I of course got a ton of wonderful detail pictures... because the dress, ring, and shoes are so important!!!

This is a new Favorite ring shot.. not sure why.. but I love it.

And whever Jimmy Choo shows up we have to capture it!

Nova and James were not going to see each other before the wedding, but when I was looking at their schedule they had only scheduled 30 minutes for all the pictures to be taken. Really, this isn't enough time to take Bride and Groom pictures, wedding party, and family pictures. Even if I could do them all in 30 minutes, there are always distractions that can affect the time, so I recommended that they see each other before hand and do all the family pictures afterwards. I'm so glad they choose to do it this way, because family pictures went late and we would not have had time to get the amazing portraits that we did.

So THANK YOU James and Nova for being flexible. We got some amazing shots.

I LOVE this one of Nova.

There were 3 very cute flower girls... this shot is right before they were supposed to walk down the aisle.

The littlest flower girl, Natalie, was so proud of herself because she made it down the whole way... when she got to the front she screamed "I did it" and ran to her mom.. I love this shot!

James and Nova read their own vows and it was so awesome because James was really tearing up. He almost wasn't able to read them. I love this shot because his brother in law and best man was giving him support.

Lots of tears were shed all day.

Again, more tears throughout the night... The slideshow that James sister put together was amazing. All the toasts were very touching as well.

I cried when Tessa gave her speach because it reminded me so much of me and my sister.

But with the tears came a lot of fun and dancing. They partied hard all night long... I hear the cops even came:):):) I guess it isn't a good party until the cops come right:)

It truly was a beautiful event!! Thank you Nova and James for allowing me to be a part of it!
