Another Album Design

Allyson and Derek got married at the Four Seasons Troon North last October. We just finished their album design! It looks great!!! Click on the image below to see the entire album.

Steven and Nicole

Nicole and Steven were married last Sunday at the Orange Tree Golf Resort. I have been so excited for this wedding because I LOVE this couple. Ever since I met with Nicole I knew that we would be a perfect fit! I'm actually a time share owner with Shell Vacations, which is Orange Tree, and they both work for Shell, so it was kind of fun being on the property to shoot this wedding.

It was an exciting day and I was so thankful to have Andy Andrews, Jocelyn Sanders, and my husband there to help me out. We were a great team and everyone got great pictures.. thanks you guys!

The wedding was wonderful but the ceremony did have it's difficulties... the sunset at 7:30 and that is when the ceremony started as well, so it was pretty much all the way dark during the ceremony. Luckily Nicole had told me about this, so I pulled out some great lighting and we got some AMAZING pictures out of it! I was so happy with how it all turned out.

We started the day in Nicole's Suite with all the girls getting ready.

Steven and Nicole wanted to see each other before the wedding. I love Stevens reaction. He said this moment was one of the most amazing moments of his life!! I love hearing that!!

People often wonder if they see each other before the ceremony if it is still as important when they walk down the aisle... ummmm... YES!!! Look at Stevens face as Nicole was walking toward him... it was just as emotional!





This is the section that was all lit by our fancy easy going lighting... the pictures were great... it was pretty much complete darkness from here on out!

And we ended the ceremony with surprise fireworks!!!! I had no idea they were coming... i'm not sure who did.

It was a wonderful day. Thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of it!

Create Better Images - A Beginners Photography Workshop

Point and Shoot Cameras

Ok, I know i'm a photographer and should know all of the best cameras out there... and when it comes to SLR's I can tell you what to buy and what not to buy... however when it comes to Point and Shoots I have no clue.... they keep changing on me.

I need to buy a new point and shoot camera that takes amazing pictures and I wanted to get everyone's advice on what they think is the best!!! So please leave comments on which point and shoots you would tell someone to buy!

Also, video cameras... if you know of a good video camera I need one of those as well!!!

Photography contest winner!!!!

I don't enter many contests, mostly because I always miss the deadlines for them:):) But I was so excited today when I found out that I placed 5th in a really cool photography contest. This is a contest that is voted on by other photographers so it makes it even more exciting that I won!

Exciting News

I'm so excited to announce that Jennifer Bowen and I will be holding a 3 hour workshop for those who are just starting out in photography. This is great for parents and amateur photographers who are wanting to take better pictures.

I get a lot of questions from parents and people who are wanting to learn the basics of photography and how to take good pictures. Jen and I decided that we would love to help out in that area!

The workshop will be Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at my studio in downtown Mesa. We will be posting more details soon so be sure to check back next week for more information and how to register. Feel free to email me or leave a comment if you are interested!!

Congratulations David Cook!!!

This is the first American Idol season that I have watched and I was a loyal Tivo viewer... I have to admit that towards the end I even voted on my ATT wireless phone:).

My husband and I are huge David Cook fans... I do think that Archeletta has an amazing voice, but David Cook is a better performer!

Last night my husband and I had a baby class and didn't get home until 10:00 PM so we started watching the show then... we got to the end and laughed jokingly that the Tivo would cut out on us at the end...... yea, well right when they said "and the winner is" ( no joke)... the tivo stopped. Are you kidding me??? Luckily thanks to technology we were able to hop on the internet, pull up You Tube and watch the ending. It was good and I was so happy and excited.

Both Davids are great and are going to have wonderful careers, but I have to say a big Congrats to Cook!!!!

Album's Galore

What a week!!! This has been one of those weeks where I look back and say woah... where did the week go!!!

We have been so crazy busy working on different projects and a lot of album designs!

I have a fun thing in the works that I can't wait to share with you all, but until then I wanted to show you all Meredith and Ernie's album. We just finished the first preview design and I LOVE it!!!

Friends in the Army

I have a friend from High School who was pretty much like my brother. I've been trying to find a way to find him because he's in the military and haven't had any luck. Well today I found some pictures and a video about him... he makes me proud!!!

I still don't have his contact info and hope that I can get it, but I wanted to share this with you. It's amazing the things these guys are doing for people and it makes me so honored to know Shaun and see who he has become!

Ella Joy Blakeney

I have to give a big shout out and congratulations to one of my wonderful couple friends who just had their baby girl this weekend... Mothers Day to be exact!!!! Congratulations Heidi and Jake, she is gorgeous!!!



Heidi has been ahead of me in this whole pregnancy thing about 10 weeks so its been fun to see how things have progressed for her!

Also, I did not take this picture or make this card... I stole it off her blog to show off!!

My Cute Nephews growing up!!!

So Aidan and Liam turned 2 on May 1st and we went to celebrate in Pinetop! I can't believe how big they are getting and how much they keep changing on me. They are so smart and so cute!!!!

We decided to go fishing so we got some great pictures of them fishing for the first time! Don't they look like little men?

My sisters husband also has twin nephews and they came along too. This was their first fishing trip and Cole caught 2 fish!!! Amazing.

We also spent time watching my parents new washers and dryers go round and round... amazing how you can amuse the boys!


They found the horsey and could finally ride it on their own! They had an awesome time... so cute.
